Difference Between Mediocrity and Jawdropping

Hey guys, I've been wondering what is the difference between mediocre and jawdropping videos, whether it is flourishing or magic. For example if you take a look on theory11 and go to the media section, look at a mediocre video posted by a magician or flourisher. Then look at a jawdropping video by someone such as Dan and Dave Buck on magic or Virtuoso for flourishing.

There is a difference but I just can't pinpoint the difference. Is it the presentation of a person? The trick executed? It's tough for me because when I look at a professional video there is a certain feel to it. For example if I look at a mediocre flourishing video, there's just a gist to it that makes it mediocre. But, if I look at The'me, there's a totally different feel.

Do you get what I mean?
