Diving Board Double Lift Questions

I'm considering getting this and I'm wondering how hard the acrobatic version is. I know it will take practice but I'm wondering whether or not to buy it. Also, what does the normal non-acrobatic double lift look like?

It just takes a little bit of practice, but I was nailing them within a month!

Definitely pick this one up. The non-acrobatic double is practically the only double lift I use... and the acrobatic version is a blast, once you get it down. Will take a little time and practice - but don't be deterred.

Highly recommended.

The acrobatic version is cool and not ultra-difficult, but as Brian Tudor says, "that's just not a smart double lift." I, like Jon Raiker, use the non-acrobatic version more often. But when it comes right down to it, the double lift I use most is a Vernon double pushover.

As Ben stated, definitely stick with the non-acrobatic in performance.

I personally wouldnt use either version. While they ARE cool and fun to practice, when it comes down to it, nobody turns over cards like that. I just do a combination between a strike and a pushoff, but to each his own.

I personally think it's alright. Laymen know we're magicians, and expect us to be able to handle cards slightly better than the average joe.

Of course I do agree about not using the acrobatic version in performance...but the non acrobatic version is perfectly fine for real life performance...in fact, it's really good in my opinion.

The Diving Board Double is great and looks great. Works very well.
