hey everyone, I am into flourishing and card magic, and was wondering about finger/hand exercises.
I have fairly big hands already, which seem to be a advantage for me.
And I pretty much never put down a deck of cards
But I watching a video by WH, and he said it is more dexterity then size.
I kinda already knew this, but that did get me thinking.
I know D&D have some exercises in one of there videos, but i dont currently own those.

So, i was just wondering if someone could make some suggestions

thanks,

Dan and Dave Trilogy, Disc 3 Everythingelse. Has some finger exercisers. And Xtreme Beginners Vol. 1, Disc 1 has some also taught by Greg Irwin, and that leads me to my last bit of info. Greg Irwin's finger fitness is full of finger exercisers.

back to the basics, flourshing has some good finger exersizes. One good on it just twiddle your fingers and make each finger, one at a time, go up out and down a few times then switch to the next one.

IF you want to get serious about finger fitness, I recommend you check out a DVD from www.handhealth.com (Greg Irwin's site)

He is an expert on the subject and many of the pros use this material. I was really in bad shape with my hands in alot of pain and this material managed to rehabilitate me quickly. Its also alot of fun. might look a little strange at first but if you give it a try you will be amazed at how much of a difference it makes in your dexterity and over all performance.

I practice about 30 minutes of finger fitness everyday, following the Finger Fitness DVD from Greg Irwin. After three weeks I see some improvements, though I still can isolate my pinky that well, but... it's on its way so it's worth it!

I don't think finger fitness is mandatory since you can devellop your fingers'strenght through practice, but it's definitely a plus!
