Welcome back to the forums! Glad to see your well. We've missed you. Just to bring you up to some speed the IMX convention was a smash hit from what I hear. Casey is now doing moderation for the forums, along side some flashy title as a director of interactive stuff for theory11. I think Zack Mueller is doing something similar as well. D Christopher I think is still doing moderator stuff, but I've not seen much of him around this site as of late. He's been busy with his own projects I'm sure. His last release Metal. was a nice product on spoon bending. I'd recommend checking it out when you get the chance.
Luke Dancy just got out of the hospital for surgery on his back, and is recovering nicely. Hawkeye Suess (of The Magic Session) just became a proud father of a brand new baby!
I just finished a performance date at Jeff McBride's Wonderground in Las Vegas, and let me tell you I got schooled on character development. X.x' Just when you think you're starting to understand a subject the master comes along and redefines your understanding of the universe around you. Next up for me is Anime Expo in July.
Forum Member Praetoritevong was recently in Los Angeles, and visited the Magic Castle.
There is a Houdini & other famous Jewish Magicians exhibit at the Skerball museum in Los Angeles, that runs through September I believe.
There's a new TV show on with mentalist Keith Berry called "Deceptions". Though I personally think it's nothing more than a Derren Brown rip off. Judge for yourself, I think it's on A&E or something.
Theory11 has had some pretty good releases as of late, I recommend looking at Digital Dissolve, and The Hole Thing.
A new magic website targeting cardists has recently opened up calling itself the Magic Workshop. They've been doing some good video based deck reviews, and should be searchable on youtube. They've recently partnered with Paper Crane and Ellusionist.
Criss Angel has a magic network he's launching online, and recently auditioned people for some project that will be on that network. Though details are few and far between, I'm guessing it's going to be something like Street of Cards, but bigger, and better. -Course he also said the same thing about his Circ Show "Believe" and we all saw how that one turned out.
I'm sure there are some other things too, but I can't think of them at the minute. Welcome back though! Look forward to seeing you around.
