I'd like your thoughts on a video

Much thanks to the recent SNC, I've been forced to try my hand at video editing, and found that I actually like the creative process. Despite how frustrating it is trying to make sure everything lines up, the edits are clean, and transitions smooth, I find it a very cathartic and rewarding process. Not to mention an incredible way to occupy my down time.

I wanted to expand upon the 11 seconds from the SNC video, and play around with creating a video designed for a quick sizzle of self promotion.

Since I wouldn't consider myself very skilled at video editing or creation, I'd love some feedback. But then again, that's part of the reason why we are all here isn't it? To help one another learn and grow? If you would be so kind to indulge me. The link is here.

I should also credit a fellow forum member here JRoberts05 for one of the music selections that I've featured in this video. The music is his original piece, and is used with his written permission.

Yes, Windows Movie Maker certainly has opened up a few doors for me, but I think it's very very limited. I may look into purchasing Final Cut Pro or something similar when I get back home.

I have a place in my heart for iMovie, though it wouldn't have as much as Final Cut Pro. Though, I have heard that the guys at any film department in a university are usually always willing to help out on a side project. A lot of them have their own equipment too.

iMovie is pretty damn simple for someone like me (a pure vid newbie), you can add music, transitions, cut, loop, and do all these other things really easily. I learned by myself and it didn't take that long!

I can do sooo much with windows movie maker. But then again, I downloaded about 30+ different effects and titles.
