Is there any advantage to Takamiz Uzui's one-handed method over Steven Brundage's one-handed method?

I recently got Takamiz Uzuis's Penguin Live lecture, I already have Cube3. It's good to know Takamiz Uzui is the original creator of the one-handed technique. So if you own both of these you will know that the basic technique is pretty much the same. Cube3 teaches the same one-handed technique but in a different sequence.

What's your preferred technique ? Did you find any advantage of one over the other?
