The Trilogy and The System is pretty good.

I would suggest you to learn the basics such as: revolution cut, sybil (great tutorial by Cardshark88), charlier and ribbion spread. These can all be found in youtube. Once you got the basics down, you could buy The System by Dan and Dave Buck. The Trilogy as well because it has a 101 Flourishing section by The Buck Twins as well. If you want to advance further, then buy Dangerous Motion by Daniel Madison which can be bought in here. I wish you all luck to you, my friend.

and yeah i would say the trilogy, that is where i started and i turned out fine

Trilogy isn't for beginners guys.

I don't own it, but I'm looking to purchase it at some point because I have only heard wonderful things about it, I would purchase The Encyclopedia of Card Flourishes. It will take you from beginner to pro. You should also check out Xtreme Beginnerz Vol. 1.

Welcome to cardistry and flourishing. Its a long road that even I am not far along. However, at the end of the road is beautiful art.
