Hey Everyone,

I just was wondering about a few different things so i thought id check to see if anyone had any information on them.

1) My first question is about coin magic. and although there are many greats out their, i especially liked how david blaine did some of the effects on the street, especially the one where he bites the coin and then spits at it and its restored, stuff like that. Anyway this is a cool effect but it requires a gimmicked coin (obviously lol). However I live in Australia so having a gimmicked american quarter over here is kinda useless so does anyone know anywhere that would sell australian versions of not just that coin trick but bill tricks also in australian currency or do we have to make it ourselves lol

2) I wanted to get some input/ideas on card productions, mainly in a they pick a card, its "lost" in the deck and then you have it palmed off sense. What do you think would be the best way to reproduce it. I know plenty like card through window, etc etc but yer just wanted to get some thoughts on it.

Thats about it, let me know.

Cheers

And a hello right back at ya! :)

For the currency issue, I'd ask some local magic shops about that one, as they're more likely to be in touch with any local producers of coin/bill 'gaffs', if there are any around. If not, you may wish to look into well-known producers of such gaffs (such as Roy Kueppers), as they can often custom make a gaffed item for you (I know that Roy can make custom coins, for example -- Linky for Roy's custom work page).

I hope that helps! :)

I have no clue mate about gaffed Australian currency. Your probably better off checking your local magic dealer or studing the slights in JT Bobo's "Modern Coin Magic."

As for the card reveal try Triumph. Killer effect it is.
