KISS (keep it simple stupid)

this trick was entered for a contest (for some guy who exposes too many things on youtube but has these contests and gives away free cards so this contest didnt involve exposure so i entered, im not a fan of exposure on youtube), unfortunately i didn't have time to make the video until 5 hours before the contest ended and i wanted to leave at least 3 hours for uploading and processing
so i apologize that the trick is somewhat rushed and unperfected.

I created this idea about a month ago
this is the basic version I created
the more complex version is a full card to box transpo where the spectator sees the card go in the deck the opposite way.

I would appreciate comments but DO NOT PUT COMMENTS ON YOUTUBE.

any comments can be posted here

thank you

Good concept but you looked unatural handling the box.

thank you for taking the time to watch my video and thank you for your feedback, although, could you clarify a little more on where I can make my handling of the box smoother, while taking the cards out or while putting the cards in or both? thanks again :)

I liked the idea as well but agreed...your handling of the box isn't smooth or natural yet. It makes it very suspicious. Keep working on it and it will be great. Thanks for sharing.

Well...it was definitely noticeable when you were "apparently" putting the deck in the box that you were sliding the card behind the box onto the bottom. That looked very fishy.

Cool trick man. If you want to improve it you might want to try doing a color change or produce the 7 with a flourish. I think it would also be cool if you did the second transpo with a Bertram change or some other change away from the box. Just some ideas but very nice trick man.

I liked it, I think the first transpo could be improved in this way: You place the "seven" into the box, and say "let's go back to that ten" and do a pass or cut and look through the deck for the ten. You obviously can't find it, but you come across the seven again. THEN you say "wait...the seven again?....that must mean the ten is in the box."

Just a thought I had while watching it.

I would have the seven appeared reverse face down so it would stick out.

wow thats wierd i had the exact same idea for the exact same trick, but never looked into it.

just work on the handling and i think it could be good

to get you handeling down, have a layman put cards in a box, and watch how they do it, try to mimic that as you do your load. Agree with above post about "wait the 7again?" give it some time misdirection.

My question is what color change did you do in the second part?

Fezzik: wow man, that’s a great idea, thanks, I’ll definitely be using it

Chris: in combination with fezziks idea, that would be amazing, thanks for the contribution

Luka: it’s a personal variant of the ego change

Thanks again everbody for all these small things I can do that will make a big difference hopefully in my performance. I honestly appreciate your contributions

I will upload the extended version where there is a full transpo and incorporate some of these ideas as well. And that video wont be rushed or anything like this one
