You little stalker!
I recently watched Lennart Greens performance on TED and thought it was amazing. It really made me want to learn some of his magic. So i searched it and found that he has a 7 dvd collection called Green Magic. I have heard some bad things about these dvds saying that they aren't well taught and stuff. The only thing i want to learn in his optical deal routine (where he deals many card from one card). So which volume is this on? and what are your opinions on Green magic? Thanks!

I believe the one trick your talking about (the one with the patter of it being a "false count"?) is on same volume as the snap deal. If so, then it would be on volume 6.

Edit: heres a list of the effects on each dvd (not all applications / effects are included): HERE

In a cave.
The move itself I'd rate at about a 4.5-5.5. It is actually a fairly easy move. Now to get it to the point were it doesn't look ridiculously obvious and completely stupid... I'd make that rating a 10. At that point Lennart is performing magic in it's truest form. It's something to practice and dream about, not actually achieve. It can be done. That has been proven. I don't even feel right trying to do a trick of this magnitude. A lot of people would view it as stupid simply because it is simple, hopefully you do not make this mistake as well.

Best,

I think it's very difficult to present Mr Green's stuff and get the impact that he does. He's got such a unique style, it's hard to imagine his moves in a different context. However, whenever I watch his Green Magic series, it makes me realise the potential for astonishment that there is within a simple deck of cards.

So is it harder than the S.W.E. shift? or Clipshift?

I met Lennart; nice guy. I don't know if his DVD set is any good, but he is a HECK of a performer.

The DVD's are not taught very well. He does not go over the snap deal very well which is good and bad. The false shuffles one he teaches OK. Those are the only 2 I have watched and really the only 2 in the series worth buying.
