Personally, I like watching levitation effects. However, I don't believe that I'd ever perform one myself unless it was just THAT amazing.

To me, I have yet to see somebody find a way to present a levitation as something that is believable. I'm sorry to say that when it comes to leviations for me, it begins to immediatly turn into a "can you spot the gimmick" sort of thing.

I would say all of the above. It seems to be one of those situational things. From all i've seen they are all angle sensitive. It could be a good investment for then you are ready to perform.
