Liquid Metal- Morgan Strebler
Liquid Metal is an impromptu effect where you bend a fork into a impossible way and can be left as a very neat and unique souvenir.
The Effect 10/10
You bend a fork in a spectators hand, in front of their eyes, or in your hands with just a small finger, and it looks like it happens with your mind that looks like no effort at all. The bends include a corkscrew, tine, and some other bends.
Teaching 10/10
I heard many wonderful things about Morgan's teaching and I agree with them, Morgan is the best teacher I have ever witnessed. He goes over everything you need to know and his Recap on everything taught is better than many magicians detailed instruction. He teaches another person so any problems you have he goes over and corrects them in a simple way. If anything he over teaches it.
Impromptu 9/10
One of the forks will require a setup but the other one is completely impromptu. The reason for the point off is because it requires a lot of finger strength and much practice to get the offbeat and trying to manage your audience. Other than that this is in your hand effect and looks absolutely brilliant.
Video Quality 8/10
I have no idea why but Penguinmagic can not seem to get a 10/10 in any video they produce. It is easy enough to understand but many times I was wondering why the fork was halfway gone then they jerked into view a few times. When he was teaching someone else they had the worst possible camera view and went over the shoulder when they were a few feet apart so they had to pan over and over again to each individual and not them both.
Difficulty 8/10
It is one of the moves you will need to practice in front of trusted friends or family. You need to get the offbeat and patter so you can do the moves in the right order and the right way. The hardest part is building your finger strength so just be prepared to maybe working out a little bit to help out and trying the bends again and again.
Overall 10/10
Even with the difficulty factor quite possibly one of the top three most impressive feats of mentalism so far. Buy it at penguinmagic.com for about 30.00 and with practice and time you will become one of the unique magicians that can bend a fork anytime as long as you practice it and are able to do the stronger forks.
