If you want to look up to some pimp magician, than Criss Angel is the guy. Maybe you all dont like him, but he get's alot of girls, and i mean alot.
And if any of you, not famous and not full of money (not Chris Kenner) magician want's to get hot girls, just hit the gym... It's that simple.
And to really get back on topic:
John Guastaferro has a nice trick to introduce yourself to a cute (not money chasing) girl, called "the fairytales frogs", on his Brainstorm Vol1 DVD, it's the first trick in there.
I'll be honest, I haven't read half... or even a fourth of the replies here so my thoughts may have been said before, but i'll share them nonetheless.
First, if magic is all you have to impress girls chances are you won't get very far after you "do some tricks".
Two, magic is something I do and it is a part of who I am, if the girl cannot except that part of me there aren't worth my time to begin with. Now, I am not going to be performing all the way through a date, but hell, i'll ask if they want to see a trick. Again, its a part of me they need to know about and accept from the very beginning and if they don't like it... bad for them I guess.
Now, if you think that whole last paragraph came from some self-centered dude who gets all the girls he wants so he can pick and choose... it didn't. TRUST ME, it didn't.

I just double checked, I am a female, so I am more than anatomically qualified to answer this.
This has actually turned into a very entertaining and ridiculous thread. I can tell you stories about men getting women with their magic tricks. I can tell you stories about women never taking those men seriously afterwards.
I am not the one who is annoyed that you try to use magic for the attention of the opposite sex, as long as you know who you are and why you took up the art. Embrace it, I just want you to also look at the reality of the situation...Card tricks will NEVER equal true love.
A few more things:
Criss Angel is not what you would call a "pimp", yes he is a magician, that happens to be in many pictures with hollywood starlets, but he NEVER EVER does card tricks to impress his oh so many hollywood admirers. Trust me, I see him in action at the Cathouse (inside the Luxor) more than anyone on this forum.
Doing magic can help you with your people skills, but don't make magic your only source of these "skills."
Not everyone wants to see a magic trick, get over it.
Charm is not a box full of 52 pieces of paper, learn to tell a good story or joke without them.
