Magician Dexterity

i have been a magician for a while, and as you know, we have a very high dexterity. I put my dexterity to the test to see if i could do cool things other than with cards. i picked up a rubix cube and found that within a month i was very fast at solving it.

have you noticed the ability to do better in things with your hands as well? like video games, or other things?

Before doing magic, (and now as well), I play the piano. This seems to really have helped me with sleights and other moves in magic. I also spin random objects on fingers or do tg-deck flips with random items, such as glue bottles

Very interesting question! I can also solve the Rubik's cube and do it quickly since the 80's! As a matter of fact it was homework to solve it for a geometry class I had waaayy back then! (Showing my age) I was also good at video games that required fast reflexes. I was killer on Defender, Asteroids(played 20 hrs on a single quarter), Robotron and others. Back in the day the corner stores all carried these games and they would have high score contests. If your score stood for a week you'd win like $10 or something. Well before you know it I was banned from playing in all of the stores. I'd rather have the rep of being banished for being too good than winning the money only half the time! I can also juggle really well and picked it up quickly! Haven't juggled in years but I know I can still do it! Played in the minor's (pitcher) and got my black jack dealer license in A.C. when I was 18. I feel having the reflexes of a jungle cat and the dexterity of a kung fu master (j/k) have helped me in all of my endeavors!

What mode do you play on? Cause the easier modes you literally have the drones run away from you. (Then piss you off with stupid pistol shots.)

I used to do a bit of that Finger-skateboard thing. which i find highly amusing now. i was average on that. Played guitar, ****lot of video games (Those ones that require you to enter set sequences on a set basis) and i type at 82 words per minute.

Guess that makes my fingers quick.

Im kidding, playing Gears of war 1 online killed my social life, I havent played GOW2 that much, I spent my time killing zombies in left for dead .

I can solve a rubiks cube relitivly fast (2min. my record) considering the like 43 Quintillion (yes this is accurate) and all the other types of cubes out there, 4x4,5x5,7x7, and the like the fricken tetrahedran shapped one (not sure that ones accurate). also a few mediocer pen spins

-Dan and Dave finger exercise tips on the trilogy.
-Picking your nose.
-Flicking your brother/sister in the head constantly in 1 minute intervals.
-Flaming on random forums as fast as you possibly can.
-Flicking the bean (Refer to the movie "The Ugly Truth")
