Hey everyone,

I make gimmicks at home and i was wondering if you guys can help me? The problem is when i finish the gimmicks they come out fine its just the edges arent so clean so when i mix the gimmick with the regular deck it sticks out like a sore thumb. DO you guys know anyway of whitening the edges so they dont stick out as much?

Thank you in advance.

I'm assuming that you are referring to card sp****ing. If so, are you having trouble with alignment? If you clarify you issue I might be able to help.

Im referring more to the end result of card sp****ing because the alignment and glue and everything else is fine its just with the finished product the edges end up dirty and im not sure if its the glue that is stuck on the edges and collect dirt or what.

honestly I wouldn't worry too much about a slightly discolored edge. No one should be looking that closely. I've used dupes from other deck that are quite noticeable to me but nobody ever catches it.

no problem man. It's great that you are willing to put in the time and make your gimmicks (to many people are too lazy). Good luck!

Thanks for the input. thats what im starting to notice and also a friend of mine said if i feel like i need to hide it i can treat it like a trick and just angle it more as if it was a trick that is angle sensitive.
