That's actually how it's suppose to be. There isn't really a need for a product page since they're just manipulation cards, don't really need a preview video and a bunch of pictures, if you catch my drift.

What are the Manipulation Decks about? They were just added, I guess for the new 1 on 1 with Sperry. When I try to click on them, they don't have a page; it just says "This has been added to your cart." I want to see more details!

Wow, I got the same thing when I clicked on it.
I guess it's just a new deck which theory11's going to start selling.
Does this make it the first non T11 product being sold here?
Brown Wynns, Split Spades, Smoke and Mirrors.

Apparently they're a deck of cards with "skin" colored backs. That's all I can really gather. There was a topic about this earlier, almost exactly the same topic, but it got locked right away. Maybe because of the possibility of "exposing" something? I'm not sure.

You can't really see what they look like, though. I would at least want to know how much thinner they are and see someone holding them .

I merged the other thread which I closed earlier with this one.

As you can see basically there is no product page because one isn't really needed. I don't know how much thinner they are but, they are a hell of a lot thinner to make it easier to back-palm,etc.. Just Google Manipulation Cards and you'll find out everything you need to know for now.

I closed the thread earlier because that was all that really needed to be said. Obviously I was wrong so, this one will stay open and I'm sure JB and Raiker will read all of your responses,

Happy Holidays,

Manip Cards

Hey guys,

These are the manip cards I used in my 1 on 1 videos. There really isn't much else needed to say excep they are 1/3 thinner than a normal deck of cards. This will help you backpalm and manip more cards for your manipulation routines.

Also, they are of a different card stock. Much more pliable and have a different coating for application of fanning powder or wax.

They don't have a back design because they are intended to match your skin color for when you have several backpalmed to help them blend in with your hand. From stage they'll blend right in.

We talked of designing a deck for you guys for manip, but thought for now these would be nice to provide since it is what I use in the videos and you'll burn through these pretty fast the more shows you do as they get dirtier, wrinkled, etc.

Hope that has helped answer a few more questions. I go into more detail about the cards in the videos though.

Ever Sincerely though Hardly Seriously,
Danny Boi

I used to perform card manipulations a lot, myself. I found it's a great way to warm up and exercise certain (unfamiliar) muscles in your hands to facilitate other effects, sleights, and flourishes. I'm not sure which brand T11 is specifically selling, but I cannot recommend Norm Nielson's deck enough. From what I understand, they're a decent standard in card manipulation. For those who want a practical idea on how thick these cards are, it's possible to backpalm the entire deck due to the thinness and texture of the deck. Most manipulation decks also have four pips so you can fan the cards both ways and not get the blank deck effect.

Additionally, if you want to supplement Dan Sperry's tutorial with some quality literature, I recommend the card flourishes and manipulation books by Jean Hugard. They're a dry read but have a lot of good knowledge and underrated manipulations in them. Check it all out.

Jean Hugard reprints at Amazon.com.
