One Move Or Several?

When learning Cardistry, do you think it is more effective to tackle one move at a time or to engage in several? Does learning several at one time slow the progression of all of them? Can you learn a move faster if you only practice that one? These are all just questions I had that I hope you guys had some insight on. Thank you for any answer given.

I've been meaning to ask a question about this I just didn't know how to put it. Sorry for my totally unhelpful comment.

I work on 2 or 3 at a time, depending on their complexity. Having a break from a flourish is essential. Athletes in all disciplines practice multiple skills or exercises during training sessions. They do not focus solely on one trick/move/skill/technique.
