PK Suggestions

Can anyone suggest some dramatic pk effects? I'm not really big on moving objects, I'm more into exploding light bulbs and devils cola type effects(although I dont actually own devils cola because it costs $1000). I do use pk touches alot but really want to know about very visual startling effects like the ones mentioned above.

There's Lightning by Krisjan Pipho looks very appealing. Basically you take a light bulb into your hands, like an exploding light bulb effect, and you make it flicker. It looks pretty insane. My only question about it is whether or not you can use an lightbulb at a moments notice. Meaning, go, take a lightbulb off of the lamp (or whatever you may wish to use) and then through whatever presentation, make it flicker. Also looks like a wicked intro to exploding light bulb effects. It's on my list right now though.

77 dollars. so will need to research a bit more.

maybe invest in electric touch. lots of pk ideas there. like lighting up lightbulbs
magicsmith has some great stuff. they came up with a new one, that invloves popping balloon, without touching it

Eletric Touch just creates a static charge :S I didn't know you could light up bulbs with it!!

I've never seen it done before, I shall ask around the guys that use it, but if that's the case, I shall be investing in it as that'd look completely propless!!

3rd endorsement of MagicSmith's stuff - Chris is a PK G. I use big bang alot, and the new balloon thing is REALLY cool, like Chris mentioned!

I've definitely used my electric touch to make a small fluorescent bulb flicker.

You can also use it to do a really sweet effect where you stick an ungimmicked card to a wall. The spectator takes it off, you tell them to try, it falls. Then you say "Let me help you" or something to that effect, put a hand on their shoulder, and when they try again, it sticks.

It's really a very varied device. PK with tobacco, shocks for mentalistic "emphasis", it has a lot of cool tricks. PM me if you want more info, I'll see what I can remember.

If you do get it, I'll try and help you set up the PET set-up. It's really a lot more effective than either set-up that it comes with. You don't need to butcher shoes quite as much, and there's no awkward clicky noise when you walk.

Sounds cool. I do alot of work on PK, but the device never really appealed to me as I'd assumed it was just for the static shocking. I'll drop you a message when I pick it up Llero and we can chat!

Electric Touch is pretty bad a%$ for mentalism. PK effects and a physical feeling when a thought transfers from them to you.

I haven't used it lately but it is very very cool.
