Today I was forced to take apart my carefully assembled extreme burn gimmick. I desperately needed the 20 dollar bills. It took me so long to get it perfect, I guess I'll have to start over again =(
That is freaking hilarious. I almost did the same thing the other day when I was heading to the magic shop. I saw it laying on top of my dresser and desperately wanted the money to go buy something new but had to resist because I knew how long it took me to get my gimmick just perfect...ha ha. Needless to say I didn't spend it.
Yup, I did the same thing a few months back. I originally made mine with 100 dollar bills and that's a whole lot of money to just use for a trick. Maybe when I'm rich I can make another one but for now I'm working with 20's. Slightly less impressive, but much better for me.
Believe it or not, it's ok to print out fake bills and use them for magic effects SO LONG as you don't try to spend them. Just make the gimmicks as fakes if yer worried.
