Rose Through Silk for valentines

Hi guys,

I stopped magic for about 2 years now (due to some foreseen circumstances), but I recently started going back into it after this amount of time after a short incident with me being a dealer in a texas holdem poker game between me and my friends in which I was tipsy and began doing a couple of gambling sleights. I digress.

I used the search button with no avail that's why I decided to post this one up. Valentines day is a month away and I need a good rose trick. The whole night will involve a movie and a dinner, but what's valentines day without a rose? Can anybody direct me to a good rose through silk trick that I can use? Real rose is preferred and I am prepared to learn in this short amount of time if it involves complicated sleights and/or flash papers. any price will do as I have excess savings from my part-time job and she's worth every cent.

If people hate my idea of producing a rose, I am open to any suggestions that can help.

I'm not sure about a rose thru silk but Nathan Kranzo just released an ebook called The Gig. In it, he teaches a small flower production. Haven't tried it yet but it seems promising. Also, in one of David Stones Real Secrets of Magic dvds, he teaches a rose production which I've done a few times and is really clever. He also teaches a method to produce that rose and then split it into two roses. Both his and Kranzo's use flash paper and real flowers.
