Does anybody on here own an Expanded Half Dollar shell from Roy Kueppers?
How are they in terms of quality?
Pros/Cons?

I was thinking of ordering from his website, but I'm not sure how good the coins are.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

I ordered mine from Penguin, and I was personally pleased with it. It covers most of the coin, but not all. Mine was a very shiny 1980 Half Dollar, which didn't fit in with my others coins very well. Also, some of my Half Dollars get stuck in it.

I bought mine to try some things from Modern Coin Magic, and to go in with a few routines I invented. I am no expert on shells, and this is only one I own, so I can't compare it to any other shells. I am pleased with it, but if you are more serious about coin magic, you'd probably want a better one.

Hope this helped,

You little stalker!
Well if you can afford that guy's stuff, you're better off buying from Jamie Schoolcraft. His prices are just a bit cheaper but you really can't trust him to have the best quality. Schoolcraft and shells have received many positive reviews from many magicians, including David Blaine, Chris Kenner, and Homer Liwag. So i think in the end, Schoolcraft is a better choice.

P.S. I don't know much about Todd Lassen's shells but i have also heard great things about him, so that's another option.

Back in Time
E sells some Kuepper shells for like 35 bucks tops.

I wouldn't suggest Schoolcraft or Lassen unless you can afford it and are experienced with shells and other gaffs.
