Savior Moment

Ok, so I haven't yet to find a thread for this. So i figured i would make one. In this thread I want people to write moments in magic where they totally mess up a trick in front of spectators but somehow it still works! Now this is usually more with card magic. If you don't understand what I mean than here's my example: So I was at my summer sleep away camp in Rhode Island last summer doin tricks the whole time cause everyone there knows i do magic! Anyway's I was doing a basic triumph. I say, "Ok, now I will mix up the cards making them face up and face down!" So i start doing it as suddenly I drop all the cards on the ground by accident! Everyone was laughing and i thought i was screwed! But I felt something in my shoe and I take it off as I see one card must have fallin in my shoe!! IT WAS THERE CARD! I don't know how in heck this happened it's just one of those savior moments lol. So im saying that in this thread I would like to hear all different stories related to this topic and your savior story! Look foward to seeing them!

The card landing in your shoe sounds like the luckiest thing ever.

One time I finished doing an ACR. I started doing other stuff. After a while the spectator who helped with the ACR said, "I bet you couldn't make my signed card rise to the top right now." I figured I would turn the top card over and make a joke like, "check your a**" but, I slowly turned over the top card and it was his card! A one in a million shot! (1 in 52, but whatever)

Once my friend put a different colored card in the deck and just said to cut to the card. Because the red deck was bent and the blue card wasn't there was a natural crimp. Then I even did the same thing where he cut to the card
It was really cool

I remember being with a group of friends and showing them some stuff for the first time. They got really into it and started asking if I could "find my card after I shuffle it". Then someone else asked me if I could walk through my bedroom door. I said, "No, but I can make these cards pass through the door" (as a joke of course). They were chanting, "Do it! Do it!"
I actually threw the shuffled deck at the closed door and one card wedged itself in between the door and the frame while the other cards fell to the floor.
You guessed it.... it was their card.

They freaked out of course. So did I. Definitely not something I was expecting. haha.
