Okay so this has never happend before....I just got a deck from you guys at Theory11 (DB Split Spades - Blue) and when I opened it up the deck was all mixed up. I didn't think anything of it until later when I went to spread the deck. It is 6 cards short.

Since this has never happend before, I am not quite sure what to do. Can someone help me out? I suppose I am to return the Ace of spades or something like that (at least on bikes thats what you do).

Thanks.

that is very weird. Maybe take a picture of it, send it to customer service and see what happens. It might not work because you've opened it, and cards are missing, not defective, even though it is. If that made any sense.

The blue split spades deck comes in a full deck stack called Mnemonica.

That's really weird, I just noticed something. You're not actually missing 6 random cards, believe it or not. Those six cards you're missing happen to be the first six cards of the stack.

Number 1 is the 4 of Clubs, 2 is the 2 of Hearts, 3 is the 7 of Diamonds, 4 is the 3 of Clubs, 5 is the 4 of hearts, 6 is the 6 of Diamonds.

That's very odd indeed that you're missing six cards - and the first six cards of the stack, no less. Definitely send a shout out to wherever you bought the deck from.

I just noticed that too. Took me a while but I was thinking about stacked decks, opened one of mine up and saw those cards

Not trying to sound weird but I would want a new deck as well because what if the cut is off and they look a little different. I'm just anal though.

I think it's a game their playing. They took those cards out of one deck and burnt them. Since then every time someone complains about it they take a set of cards out of another deck to replace the ones from the first deck and send them to the person, and so the cycle continues.

Here is an update....

Missing the 2 and 4 of Hearts - 6 and 7 of Dimonds - and 3 and 4 of Clubs.

weird...its completly random.

hmm... 2H - position 2
4H - position 5
6D - position 6
7D - position 3
3C - position 4
4C - position 1

so you are missing the first 6 cards in the stack.

The stack by the way is the Mnemonica stack, and can be learned in Juan Tamariz's book "Mnemonica". Best purchase ever... well, a tie with Carneycopia.
