Somewhat Off-Topic: Happy Thanksgiving theory11

In the spirit of the holiday, (in the US.) I thought that I might post this up. It is only somewhat related to magic but I hope that the moderating staff will leave it up, but if they don't then I will hold no grudges.

For those of you who don't live in the U.S and don't really know what "Thanksgiving" is then here is a quick run down. It is a holiday in which all we do is eat and be with friends and family. It is where the Native Americans here taught us how to grow crops so we had a feast with them and the holiday is to symbolize being together. (There is speculation as to weither this is true: http://www.manataka.org/page269.html

But, either way, In the spirit of comin together as a family I thought I would post this. Most families here, before they eat, give thanks for the things they have or what they appreciate.

Theory 11 is a family. A family of magicians or cardists with a common goal. To amaze. So I thought that it would be fun to see what everyone was greatful for. It can be magic related or non-magic related.

"WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR AND WHY?"

I personally am thankful for having friends who care about me as well as family who care about me. They support all of my decisions magic related or otherwise. I also am thankful that I was lucky enough to find this delightful hobby that I hope to make into a career some day.

I'm thankful for my parents taking care of me and letting me do many things that other parents don't let their kids do. Im thankful that they allow me to buy cards as well..........

I'm thankful for finding magic, the people that have helped me progress in my magic, the friends I have made, and more. I could type a whole essay up on just why I am thankful for magic, but I'm not gonna do that, I don't have time to wright anything huge right now. Maybe tomorrow. ;)

Anyway, have a happy Thanksgiving. May your holiday be filled with awesomeness.

Dang strait man. I love pumpkin pie.

Clearly you have never tried apple pie. If you like pumpkin pie over apple pie, you are not welcome here. Get out.

Anyway, let's get back on topic about Thanksgiving. ;) (Even though pie is in fact awesome....)

I'm thankful for my family always being there for me and being proud of me for doing magic. I know a lot of magicians out there that don't have that luxury of having parents and siblings who care about their magic as important as it is to them. I'm one of the lucky ones and am so grateful for that.

I'm also grateful for all the friends I have made in the magic community. You guys rock!

I suppose I am thankful for magic in itself. I would have no where to go with my life if i hadn't found magic 6 years ago.
