Tax Return Time

Well, it's finally here. That time of the year when the government gives us all the money they took from our checks that they wern't supposed to have back. I got my W-2 today and this is my first tax return. I wil be getting my simplfied tax form sometime during the week. I am fourteen almost fifteen and have been workingfor one year and my estimated tax return is 318$. That's not too bad for a fourteen year old kid.

But here is my question.... what are all you adults and/or working kids going to do with you tax return cash???

Personally if I get 300 I'll set it aside and save up another 200. then when I have a total of 500 buck I will purchase:

True Astonishments- 300
A Porper Clip- 30
A Close Up Mat- 30
Distortion- 35
Panic- 35
Some Guardians- 15
Some Ghosts- 15
Some Slpit Spade Lions- 15

15 for shipping and what not.

(NOTE: I rounded up al the prices.)

Dylan P.

PS: Does anyone know if T11 will be getting anymore smoke and mirrors?

Enjoy your return. It may be the last one americans with jobs get for 4 years.

As far as what I will be spending my return on:
If corporate bookings don't pick up... food and shelter.

List pared down to the stuff that's really worth it. Save the rest of the cash.

In the meantime:

Things I Hate #217: People blurting out their store-bought political opinions without invitation.

This tax season I'm more concerned with making sure all of my deductibles go through.

how is that political or store bought? its pretty common that Tax breaks are almost always only given as the President is taking office on that year, and that the following 4 years he seeks other economic strategies other than the breaks. especially with the republican's out of the way.

steerpike's constant negativity and berating everyone on these forums for having idea's that are different than his.

as for the list, id say TA, a close up pad and a porper are all good investments and then id pick one trick either Panic or Distortion (the one you feel is more powerful and your style) and get that and work on it till its perfect instead of two gimmicked tricks that will need work to make impressive.

When did T11 sell out of S&M?

Also, don't D&D still have S&M in stock?

Also, isn't there going to be a 3rd edition? Maybe that is why they are sold out.

He's not doing that. He is challenging you to think. A crucial part inlife. He wants you to think for yourself and figure things out. He may come a cross as harsh but that might be what it takes to get ou people to think. All he wants you to do is have research and proof before you speak.

I will send a note of apology as soon as your opinion means something to me.

To keep a tissue-thin veil of productivity to the proceedings, don't bother buying single trick packages. Not for now, that is. In fact, if you must buy anything after True Astonishments, best to invest in a book on performance theory.

Some are going to find this exceedingly strange, but on my list ahead of Strong Magic and Maximum Entertainment is "An Actor Prepares" by Stanislovsky.

Back in Time
I don't have any new books to get till Say November then after that it's Totally out of Control. Right now I am working on Bobo, Strong Magic and finishing up Card College and then will most likely spend a month or so going over the books again just to refresh my memory.
