The "other" Playing Cards?

Hey guys, just a quick question =)

We're all used to the highly marketed (well on the internet) Playing Cards that we see around at T11 or at E (eg s&m, split spades, arcanes etc) which are all said to have good stock, finish etc. and are frequently seen and used in the magic community.

Personally I can say I'm a fan of these cards due to their design and their "wow" factor when you whip them out to perform with, but if you are an experienced card guy (this goes to anybody here =D), what are the other decks that entice you to get hold of and perform with due to their good finish and design? (other than the mainstream highly marketed decks we see around so often..)

My personal opinion is that these "other" cards are "left out" and sort of underused. I mean I'm not a pro in this area so it's just my opinion on it. Anyone here has any suggestions on any of these decks that come to mind? Just wanna know some examples of these decks so maybe I could get hold of some of them and feel the difference, maybe? Well, an example could be the Swedish Anglo Rug or something along that line? I don't own any one of these less marketed decks and honestly speaking, have totally no idea how they feel like at all...

Anyone can give me an insight? Thanks!

bees, my first deck for magic was a $1 deck of used casino cards with the rounded edges. I still play with it sometimes to try and rekindle my love for magic when i get bored. still fans like a champ too and its crusted in grime :)

bee cards are supreme quality

not sure if this one counts but... bicycle masters from E. Look like an ordinary set of bikes but they lasted me 2/3 months, compared to REG bikes that last me a couple weeks max. My teacher who does magic as his main job uses them and no other deck. Also, they still have the UV500 finish that the USPCC discontinued for most of E's decks. (UV500's the best)

Here's the big difference between Air-cushion finish and UV500 air flow finish....

There is none. There never was none, there isn't one, there never will be one. They have thicker stock, that's IT. That and a different looking ace of spades and box, and no guarantees on either of the jokers. Although thicker stock will make them last longer, they're not that much thicker..

Ohhh, have you all seen the Lee Asher 605 Series... Let's just say it is the definition of sexy card finishes and perfected quality. Don't believe, check out this thread that raves about them.

SONOFA*****!! $11 a packet?!?!! That better come with his signature!!But yes, they do look smexy.

wow, after reading that review, I want to get my hands on some. so let me get this clear, you wash them with a cloth and they REGENERATE HEALTH?!!?!?!?

I really like Hoyle Shellback's. They have a nice snap, finish, and NEPTUNE, GOD OF THE SEA. Also, the court cards look a little different from standard bikes, tally's, bee's etc. They're only like 2 bucks a pop at dollar general.

I found these world poker tournament cards at a Walgreens a few weeks ago that have the same stock as bees with a different back. I have a weird affinity for them...

Those are OLD, dude. The new WPTs that can be found in stores are different, they're not one-way.
