Yes, except on the special feature "pasteboard animations," an old home video of the Bucks, in which they explain the flourishes verbally.

But, do they explain all of them verbally? I know they explain a few ace productions, and a few of the flourishes, but I'm not sure if all of them are taught verbally.

I personally don't like the way the System works as a teaching tool.....it doesn't work for me.

They don't explain all of them, but they explain a few flourishes and a few ace productions. If I had the DVD on me right now I'd get it and tell you but alas I do not. I know for a fact that the Madonna and a variation of it are on there though.

I'm not a fan of the slow-mo myself but most people don't seem to mind it

I guess I'd prefer an even slower slow-mo.....or breaking the moves into sub parts....cause trying to learn the complex flourishes and following along from beginning to end in 1 shot is REALLY hard for me.

I have the DVD. Sadly, I've only taken the time to learn "Genesis" from Chris Kenner.

I like all of the flourishes that they offer, but you must take into consideration that style of teaching that is alotted. You can view the flourishes in slow motion, but only in a top view and frontal view. Please note that this frontal view is not the "over the shoulder" view that would have been very helpful.

The Pasteboard Anime section does indeed teach you some of the flourishes verbally, but the video is extremely grainy and black and white. Also, keep in mind that even in this section of the DVD you are only alotted the frontal view and NO slow motion feature.

They also have a section that teaches the Molecule 1-3 cuts. The style in how they teach those are the same as the bulk of the flourishes on the DVD. Frontal or Top View, and allows a slow motion feature.

I hope that this helps, and if you decide that this DVD is for you. Good luck. =)

It was hard when I first saw it, but now I don't see what everyone is crying about. Will you learn it first time through? No. But even with the hand holding babying rubbish in XB you still won't learn things like The Impossible Stack first try, these cuts are no different. Just take your time and don't try starting with this DVD and you should have no problem learning from it.
