that would be biddle trick. one of the most famous card tricks ever invented. i can tell from your card handling it's wayyyyyyy to earlier in your magic career to even begin thinking about releasing tricks.

As mentioned before this effect is the same as the Biddle Trick.

But even if this was original, you have to improve your card handling.
You can't think of publishing an effect, before you even mastered it.

Keep learning and practicing all you can; my advice would be to read a book called Royal Road To Card Magic, and then Expert Card Technique. for under $25, you will learn a LOT about card magic from these books, and will have a lot to go on when trying to develop your own tricks.

Agreed - lots of really awesome stuff in that book, as well as Expert Card Technique and The Card Magic of Lepaul. But good on you for discovering the method on your own! Keep on practicing
