Thread + Wounded: What do you guys think?

wouldn't it be freaky if you did wounded right after or while you are pulling out the thread from your eye?
I wont be able to do it coz I don't have wounded...and I don't really plan on buying it (its not my style)..but i had this idea
what do you guys think? is it too much maybe?
do you think i should get wounded in order to do this?

yeah dude i have been thinking about that i was thinking do thread then maybe tears of blood while your pulling it out or even after words you would totally get a different reaction

For me, that would probably be taking it a bit too far.

I heard a story about a stage magician who performed a bit where he was hung upside down handcuffed and lowered into a big thing of water, and they pretended that he was stuck inside and poof he was outside and ok.
(I don't really know the details of the trick but thats the effect)

He said he walked out on stage to show he was ok and he saw nothing but fear in his audiences eyes. He vowed never to perform the trick again because thats not what magic is about.

So I dunno if it's such a good idea to pair these two. Thread is amazing because people are thinking "man that must be painful! Thats crazy dangerous I would never even think of doing that!"

Then you actually bleed and people will think you're REALLY hurt.

I do think this would be taking it to far, but.....

How about doing a pulse stop with the tears of blood, wipe up and then say "I cleaned out my eyes or whatever so I think I can do this weird thing......" I dunno, the bloody tears after seem to downplay the thread which is a much better effect for them to remember because afterwords they can practically guess the method of the tears of blood if they try....
