My move Orbit was recently released on the WIRE, and I plan to release more ideas. However, I'm having some creative problems with my presentation and I need some feedback. This is a sort of rough draft of a trailer for one of my moves "Hack". I'm still tweaking the move itself, but I'm still a bit on the fence about my presentation.

I'd really appreciate any feedback for this one.

I agree with Tokyo, I don't think it needs changing. The rapid cuts and close-ups represent the "fury" (I guess that is how you would describe it) of the cut itself. If I HAD to find something wrong, the way you handle the deck in the beginning looks like you're kind of just waving it around, but that's just my opinion at first glance. Overall it's really great, however the move does look a little similiar to the Squeeze Cut by The Virts (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2gfQlXnXlM), which they don't even sell anymore, so I think you're ok.

Thanks for the feedback guys. And, I have to say, Hack isn't even remotely similar to the Squeeze Cut. But I'm most likely going to tweak the ending of the move a little more. But that's a conversation for the cardistry forum.

I wouldn't even call it a teaser, it shows the whole move multiple times, the only things is maybe to add a little about the teaching itself, verbal/non verbal? Which angles are used? etc.

I've gotta agree with Wyatt, which is that you should include a little bit more information about the effect or yourself. You're not trying to just sell the move, you're trying to sell yourself as an artist and as a teacher. That should be translated in the trailer, not something you have to purchase to find out about. Also, don't change the ending, that's the best part!

Psh, you got the editing in the bag, and I think you already know that. It looks great!

If it is to be on The Wire, I would agree with the guys here - adding a few snippets of the explanation will definitely encourage people to want to download it.

Also, although most flourishers choose not to, showing your face establishes a relationship with the person learning the move. Tyler is 100% correct - you ideally you want people to be fans of you, not just the moves you create.

Other than that, top notch - hope to see it hit The Wire soon :)

Thanks guys, I'm listening to all of your points. I'll try to show some more details in the next trailer attempt. Going off of what Zach and Tyler said, I agree that showing your face is a good idea and I do show my face in the complete video. I neglected to do so in the trailer however, so thanks for the tip. I'll have an updated trailer soon with all of the additions.
