Right ok, I have some spare money but I can either buy one, should I get The Trilogy DVD or Smoke Deck & Mirror Deck?

You little stalker!
Heck if you were deciding between the decks and even one trick from the trilogy, i would tell you to go for the trick.

The logic in buying the dvds is that you may not have the $30 or $80 in a while. Though you can $10 much easier. So buy the expensive stuff while you can

Well yeah, it depends on your needs man. Personally, I'd never use a thing from the Trilogy, so I'd rather get a brick of SM's. But that's just me. And at the moment, I don't need cards anyway, so yeah. But I don't really need material either - it depends what you need most ^^
