So I have a walk around show coming up, it is at a banquet. I was wondering if you guys know any good effects that use minimal set-up for situations like this. Other than Torn Too (also) I don't know what I will be doing. Thanks!
"Clutch" and "hitman" are killers when there are people standing around you! No angels to worry about at all! Both completly impromptu and requires no setup at all!
What about SpongeBalls?
The DVD 'Sponge' by Jay Noblezada is a gr8 DVD to learn from....Spongeballs r fun, and r great for just about any kind of performance and any age...
Depending on the event, that could just as easily be suicidal as effective. Just warning. The tricks you already know should be more than sufficient though. There's something wrong if you feel like you need extra material for a show. From your repertoire, pick the ones you're most comfortable doing in a walkaround situation. But if you only perform one type of magic, get into some sponge balls as per above, and some coin magic - David Stone has some nice routines which aren't terribly difficult to do.
