You little stalker!
My dad recently wen ton a 3 wee vacation to China. On his trip, i told him to look for some magic stuff. He came back to with: 2 Magic Starter Kits, 2 DVD's (one of which is an autographed Zenneth Kok DVD), and 2 gimmicks. The gimmicks didn't come with instructions so i had to figure out what they were. My dad said the magic shop guy said that "Anyone with experience in magic should recognize what they are"

After a bit of tinkering, i found the first gimmick was a blink card. Which is awesome. The second gimmick is what i wanna ask you guys about. I'll give a brief description of what it is and what you can do with it and if you know what it is and what it's suppose to do, please tell me.

It's a pelt leather case that opens up like a book. In side, there are 2 clear flaps. On the left flap, there's a 7 of clubs, but when you pull the cad out, it becomes blank. On the right flap, there's a gaff 4 of diamonds. On the back of the 4D there are 7C pips printed on it. So does anyone know what it is?

That sounds very much like the "diabolical" wallet used by Australian Mentalist, Charles Gauci. He's no longer lecturing but I caught his last tour and got one of these wallets, really cool little gimmick. You may be able to find his lecture notes, "Encore" which has a routine with this wallet. If you can't find it, PM me and i'll do my best to find it for you.

And the gaff 4 of diamonds just seems like a gaff, not sure of an exact effect using that.

The first one sounds like a WOW gimmick and now there are a few different companies that are making them.

The second one I saw at a magic trade show but I forget the name of it.
It is a cool little leather book that opens and the printing of the card is actually on the clear flap but as the card gets pulled out the card looks like it is now blank (due to the black art nobody sees the ink on the clear flap which blends in with the black backdrop) The gimmicked card on the other side is for taking the two cards and sandwiching them together to look like the card from the left side has now printed itself onto the back of the card from the right side. It is a neat little gimmick that was selling for like 25 bucks and I could kick myself for not purchasing one now.

If anyone knows what this little leather packet card wallet is please post the name.
Thanks.

2 card monte

I think it's the gimmick for a 2 card monte routine. One magic shop owner showed it to me recently.

Basically, you show both cards, and say to follow one of them. Then you do something (I forgot that part) and you end with one card "accidentally" printed onto the other.

Something like that.

I think I just found your answer to your second gimmick.
If you do a search for Optic Wallet...you will find it for sale at a certain magic dealer for 35 bucks and it comes with 8 cards to do different effects with. If it isn't the same one as yours...I am willing to bet it works almost identical. If it is what I think it is I described how it works in my previous post.
