Artifice (card cheating)

Here are some of my very favorite moves at the card table. Lots of false deals including both the second (strike and push off) and the bottom deal (Gene Maze/Arc Grip). I've also added a cool slug control sequence involving both the Stevens' cull, in its most basic form, as well as what I consider to be the best table shift I know. Thanks for watching and I really hope you enjoy!

Hello sir just in case you're still looking for it you'll find a description of the Arc Grip Bottom Deal in Tom Rose's dvd set Impressions at the Card Table. Damn these videos are old haha I've now moved on to the Mechanic's Grip Bottom Deal full time.

these moves were all in card cheating techniques by daniel madison on ellusionist, probably need some moves that you thought of yourself like controlling cards

I have all of the stuff madison published on card table artifice. I can assure you none of them had anything to do with madison. They are in the same category such as BD or SD, but lets just say that they are far more superior than madison's technique.

Not sure of what you mean sir but these moves are definitely not Daniel Madison's property. Some are described in Revelation by Daï Vernon, others in Erdnase. The details of the grip I use for bottom dealing have recently been described in Tom Rose's "Impressions at the card table" dvd set though the grip has been around for much longer (seen it done by several other cardmen). When I say "Some of my favorite moves" I obviously don't mean they're mine. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for the comment.

Very nice, thanks for sharing! If I had to critique one thing, and it's subtle, it would be to work on the flow during the Maze sequence, I noticed the desired cards being...stamped down, for lack of a better description, and draws unwanted attention. That slight adjustment would make it flawless, imho. An excellent display of talent and hard work start to finish, makes me smile wide! Keep it up!

Thanks a lot for your feedback man. Yeah you're right about the bottoms I'm still experimenting a lot with rythm, tension and takes since I've only been practising it for just over a year. Hopefully we'll get there ;) Glad you enjoyed the video !
