Tell me what you think of my Bound performance

Wouldn't it look better if you "lost" the card in the deck before doing the actual effect? Apart from that, it was pretty good.

I think the real magic lies in the moment of penetration. Having a card fall through the deck and penetrate the cards, then the tape seems rather illogical (no offense). And I believe the way Daniel describes it, all the methods openly have the card on the box before the penetration.

EDIT: No, NVM, one of the methods is as ADJones described, but the pack is inside the box. I think the first method described is a little illogical, so the way that I did it is more akin to "Instantly Bound", but with a full deck rather than just the card, and I think it looks just as good, as I can show the same queen on the bottom of the deck before and after the effect, so there's not much taken away.

to me the way you present it it still looks like your just sticking the card between the tape and the box

How so? I guess I don't really understand your point of view. I just put the deck on the box fairly and wipe it down.

Edited for my retarded word choice.

Actually i watched it again i thought you wiped the deck a different way my bad, Still though theres something i dont like about this version it just looks fishy

Strange. If you could pinpoint it, it would be greatly appreciated. I know that I don't show the back of the card box (I hold it tilted up) for a little while before I put the cards on it, and it would work the same way if I held the box tilted downwards-but since the camera is dead-on to the cards (i.e., not from a spec's view) it makes it a little harder, and therefore tilted up is the most natural position for me.

However, this might not at all be what you're talking about! So if you can find what it is, then let me know, because I'd like to continue this new pattern of not being ripped a new one over my performance.

I'm starting to understand why E has videos validated before they're posted. This is blatant bad magic. It didn't make any sense to me.

Ahem... that's what she said. Sorry, it was too good to pass up. Now to the rest of your post:

Because having a card penetrate tape is perfectly logical...

Whatever floats your boat... I just think it would be better if the card was lost first. It would seem more impossible, that's for sure.
