Advanced Sleights 1-on-1's

Since I now know T11 is listening (who am I kidding, of course you listen!), I'd like to request some more advanced 1-on-1's.

Here is what I'd like to see (if I got my way, that is):

One-hand Top Palm
Erdnase Diagonal Palm
The Hermann Pass
Gambler's Cop
Half-Pass
Multiple Strip-Out
The Greek Shift (especially this one)
Backpalming
Bottom Dealing
The Three Card Monte (complete with Mexican turnover)
An Open Travelers routine
Anything from Aurthur Buckley's Card Control
A Billet Switch
An simple TnR (no-gimmick)
Scarne's Aces
Top Change
Culling Cards
False Shuffles (Zarrow, Pull-Through, Up The Ladder etc.)

More Coin Magic. Lots more. Vanishes, click passes, transfers, muscle pass, productions, changes, coins across, the classic palm, finger palm, downs palm, and much much more (pretty please).

So there's my community input for today.

Just some ideas to ponder...

Actually, I'm kind of wondering about some of the legal issues involved. For instance, would it be OK to teach the Ascanio Spread or is that unethical?

And while I'm posting again, perhaps a Cards Across routine.

Some of the mentioned items can be found around, and not in book form but in instant downloads at Penguin and likely in many DVDs.

I'd like some hard sleight 1on1s...but not just because they are hard, if the move is just going to be a neat sleight we won't use alot then don't make it into a 1on1 (Example: SWE Shift, hard but its a sleight we would use alot...can't give an example right now of a hard and little used sleight though).

Additionally some Erdnase material would be nice to see (more of that is)...hoping for one on the DPS.

Edit: Also another thought, we shouldn't forget to have variety in 1on1s, as nice as it would be to know tons of controls at the convenience of a video download we don't need tons of sleights that accomplish the same thing.

Edit dos: Ben, I mentioned some things were already taught in video format elsewhere by proffesionals, I understand what you mean.

Most of the stuff I listed was something that I at one point had trouble learning from a book. Obviously things like open travelers and bottom dealing and the half pass aren't exactly advanced anymore, but they used to be, and it would have helped to have a visual aid--to have it taught by a professional who uses it on a regular basis. That's all I really mean.

EDIT: Oh, and while I'm thinking of it, The Charlie Miller Cascade Control.

A coin magic 101 would be nice. There's cardistry 101 w/ Andrei jikh and Card Fundamentals w/Aaron Fisher. Why not coin magic? I don't know. Just a suggestion. I'm just getting into magic, I know i'm a little naive.

I would LOVE to see (and buy offcourse) a COIN fundamentals part1, 2, 3...
I mean, there is Card fundamentals, there is Cardistry fundamentals, and i would just love to see Coin fundamentals, because im 100% card magician, and i want to expand the amount of props that i use. And i dont know a better place than T11, to teach me that...

Edit: Hahai cant believe that we tought the same thing at the same time The_other73 :)

Absolutely. I third that motion. Some basic moves and then maybe a routine stringing them all together.

I don't know how possible it would be, but I would definitely love to see Paul Harris' ultimate rip-off as a 1-on-1. It's a bit hard for me to visualize exactly how it should look, so it would be great to have a Theory11 artist teach their view.

Peace
:)

I mean, I know this is a magic and cardistry epicenter, but I think that we need more diversity. I think coin magic needs to get it's spot in the limelight. In my opinion, T11 should recruit Homer Liwag, and we need more from Dan White, because, well, he's the man.

A few of your suggestions might be too complex for a 1-on-1 I think, in terms of the construction and subtleties of the sleights and so forth... Half Pass for one... But I like the suggestions so far...

Again, these are my ideal 1-on-1's. And look at it this way; they did one for the double lift, which probably has more applications in card magic than any other move.

I'd actually really like to see some sleight of hand magic using ordinary objects (pens, cigarettes, balls, paperclips, matches etc). More stuff like Missing Link.

A lot of you guys are suggesting things that can't happen. T11 won't teach a Paul Harris trick, or the Cascade Control. those are moves by other people, that imo shouldn't be taught by anyone else. If a move is already published, whats the point in teaching it again? (coughmattrichmancough) I understand things like Erdnase material because thats like over 100 years old, and no one knows who S.W. Erdnase is. But why teach a control that isn't yours, and the creator is known?

For the coin thing, why not just pick up bobo's? It's hands down the best book to start with for coins.

I would like to see some new material from Dan and Dave. They've hardly released anything here. I would also like to see some on audience control, confidence, etc. These guys have been performing forever, I'm sure they'd be able to give us some gems for performing.
