Wow, 2 years of spanish paid off! I could actually understand most of that. Al in all it's a good routine. the only thing is that you shook the rope really hard at some parts. I know it's to cover a sleight (i do rope magic too) but try to lower the movement slightly or else people will get suspicious. Anywyas, i think this is a suitable routine for a show.

I am 100% Chinese. It's for a Foreign Language Talent Show. You have to perform in either Spanish or French. I'm doing it for the experience and the extra credit.
Haha it's between that shirt, a plain black tee (to contrast the rope), or a Hispanic soccer jersey.

I find that some of your actions are rather unatural
your hands seem over tense.
If you watch how richard sanders performs, hes very very very smooth.
i think its your fists. No one would ever hold them that way.
Relax and make it smoother.
make it as if you have no scripted this at all or anything. Make it more of a "hey look string! lets try this thing over here.... and now.... oh sweetas howd that happen"
scripted magic just seems unatural and not that amusing as well...

Yea it was fun performing for the Spanish teachers at the audition. All of them were laughing at the jokes and none of the French teachers got what I was saying. lol

I'm not fluent, I just memorized it.
I would go with the plain black. As you said, it contrasts the rope, is simple and therefore doesn't distract and also looks most professional (in my opinion).
The show went great. I performed 4 times.
