Making the decision yourself...

I see alot of threads asking questions about products such as " What is the difficulty" or 'How much do I need to practice".

It's good that we are able to help eachother out but I think that people need to make the decision on their own, espically becaus eability/talent/will and drive to practice will vary from person to person.

A good example is Ray Kosby's Raise Rise effect.

I hear alot of people say "This effect is extremly hard! It's almost impossible!"
People told me to stay away from the DVD because it was SOOOO DIFFICULT. But, I bought the DVD, PRACTICED!!!! and got Raise Rise down in three days.

So what I'm saying is, if you really like the way something looks, go with it. Even if people say it is too hard or impractical, because if you truly like the effect you will be willing to practice and adapt the effect to make it work for you.

Get legitimate information on the product but then it's up to you to decide- Not everyone else.

I agree. The Clipshift was something I aspired to learn and it took me months to get down, but I eventually got it. However, while difficulty varies between people, practicallity and angles of tricks, I feel, are things you might want to ask others about before purchasing an effect.

I think people about levels of difficulty before buying. There is no point in buying something and then asking for the level of difficulty.

Also... Yes, practice is good. Practice is a must. Always practice. :)

Back in Time
3 days to get the Raise rise down to performance standard? You either must have godly strong pinky muscles or your full of crap. I'll say the latter.

For me tho it takes me like a month to get confident enough in even the easiest effects out there.
