Black Sharpie on Black Decks

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but you guys seem pretty informative about these kinds of things. I was wondering if it was a good idea to use the black sharpie method to color over the edges of the black E decks that I own. I saw a few videos of these, and most people say it works. I wanted to ask you guys (if you used it before) a description of the method you used, how it turned out, and whether or not you recommend I do it, since I don't want to waste/ruin my cards...

I remember seeing a great thread about a sharpie method on the E forums before...I'd suggest using the search function over there and seeing what you come up with.

I haven't sharpied the edges of any of my decks myself, so I can't really comment from personal experience. :)

Thanks for the info! I can't find a way to search in their forums, so it'd be much appreciated if anyone could provide me with a link if they can find it (yea, the search bar only brings up products, not threads).

Idk how well it works, I did silver sharpie on one of my decks, seemed to be fine.I don't use it much so idk if it comes off with a lot of use, but i suspect by the time you wear out your deck, the sharpie would still be on fine or just then coming off. But don't take my word for it.

The "Search" feature is not the one at the very top of the page--as you mentioned, that one is just for products. It's the link directly between "New Posts" and "Quick Links" (it's just off to the right of center).

I searched for "sharpie edges", and came up with these search results. The thread I was talking about was in those search results, about halfway down. It's imperative that you learn how to use the search feature, as you'll be better off in the future. I suggest repeating the search yourself, and seeing if you can find the thread.

And, because I'm nice, this is the specific thread I was referring to.

Seriously though, I highly suggest learning to use the search feature. It would have saved both you and I a lot of time, and me the effort, heh. :)

Good luck with any future searches! :)
