DISCLAIMER:

I submitted this to the media section a couple weeks ago with special instructions to get it posted on Halloween if it got passed. Well, they have uploaded the new videos for today (I believe) and it either didn't make the cut or they forgot. If it turns out it is there or was just posted later or whatnot, please delete this post!

Anyway, I would like to present to you people MY way of saying Happy Halloween to everyone with a new Cardistry video I did! I figure that just posting it now is the only way people will see it before they go out for partying or whatever. :D

Feel free to comment on premise, editing, flourishes or the music! Thank you, and Happy Halloween!

Or, watch it in HD on...

I wish I could comment on the actual cardistry, but the shot was way too far back to see what was happening with any clarity.

However, the camera you were using seemed to work pretty nicely. o_O

In addition to the camera being too far pulled back, I found it pretty funny that you called it "season 2". I'm hoping that was there as a reference to mystifier1 (or whatever his name was), and that you don't actually call your youtube videos "seasons".

But yeah, from the few close-up shots, it looks like you know what you're doing. I'd love to see some more of the complicated moves with the camera a bit closer. :)

Thanks!

About the season thing, I just call it that to differenciate it from the other videos I do. I label my best videos as "The PopChris Project".

Like, for years I couldn't do a good video, so then I sorta took a hiatus, and it was kind of a way to say that this is my new style of videos in magic. Haha. It wasn't to feel like the next Criss Angel or anything.

Keep the feedback coming!

flourishing quality was sloppy. camera was too far away, all i saw was you squaring cards up half the time.

smoooother please. everytime i see a video from you its always too jerky.

I don't know what video that was, but I think my fluidy and smoothness has increased heavily from the last flourishing video I posted. I have been working on it, but it a process that takes time.

Thank you for the feedback though! Keep it coming!

that video was lings video, shot in a graveyard, much like yours, showing the amount of potential that you could have reached in a video.

Like black fingernail polish ;)

Haha all joking aside- the video was allllllright, didn't really appeal to me, but I understand the idea.

I really think that you need to work on your posture, nobody wants to see you slouched over the whole video.
The flourishing still needs a lot of work, couldn't really see what you were doing, and it looked very rigid.
I think you need to stray away from speed, and work on fluidity- Also, it seemed like you did the same flourish like 20 times.

But overall- you are improving.

Man, I thought I did better about the posture thing this time too! Haha.

I know it was kinda far away... I feel it was visible enough to definitly comment though.

I will definitly work on that; however the variety of flourishes was definitly rather large in this case. I didn't repeat any more than once...

Thank you for your feedback though! Overall, I think your giving feedback is definitly improving! :D haha just kidding
