It was good, but the concept is not original. It would be very easy to let them handle the cards after the change, a simple cop out would ditch the extra card, so that aspect isn't revolutionary.
I'm not bashing you, it was good, take the advice of others on here and you've got a good hit effect, like RD said. It doesn't matter if you fool us or not, that shouldn't be your goal. It will floor spectators with the addition RD added, and thats all you really need.

Get off RD's back dude, you need to learn how to take constructive criticism. You obviously aren't very serious about the art when you can't take a fall and get right back up. Magic is full of falls, but for those of us who are serious about it, we get right back up and work harder.

Exactly what I was going to say, If you think that you have an original effect do your research before posting it. If you don't be prepared to take critasism.
