Smoke, what are the dangers? (what I'm buying)

Hey guys... I got 60 bucks and no idea what to buy....

I'm thinking of....
2 Sentinels
Invisible Centurions
1 Reg Centurion

Ends up with 31.80 so far...

Anyone else know what I should get? 60 bucks max...

I really want smoke, but then All I can get is that and some Sentinels.... Is it worth it? I'm 13, and it says that it's meant for 18 plus, so that's why I'm hesitating on getting it...
T11 people, if you're reading this, can you tell me if it's fine if someone like me gets smoke? What are the cons of getting smoke at the age of 13?

Thanks...

I think it's intended for people 18 or older because of cigarette use and "smoke". It would be common to see someone of that age blowing "smoke" out of their mouths because they are of age. Also, if people see kids blowing smoke out of their mouths you know where that can lead. Maybe people think a young kid like yourself is actually smoking. It's not really smoke that comes out of your mouth, it's water vapor as stated. I'm also thinking about getting this as well, my money is telling me "Casey! Casey! Get Smoke! Get Smoke!" So I'm not sure right now. If you've wanted an eerie and mystical feel to your magic to make it that much stronger, definitely get it.

what i would want to know most about smoke is if it is like the exile special something in that there is a time span in which it is effective, and also if you can talk with the gimmick in your mouth?

I think we can talk with the gimmick, if we couldnt talk then how Dan White ask people to watch him? But what if people think you've just smoked so you can produce smoke with your mouth? If we open our mouth to ensure them nothing is in our mouth, will they see the gimmick easily?

It's hidden in a very natural way.And no you can't talk after the smoke is in your mouth, that's literally impossible.

And there is nothing hidden inside your mouth

I was one who ordered straight from Alan Rorrison.

The cons of getting smoke for your age. At age 13..it kinda looks silly.

I'm personally going to pick up a brick of Sentinels, an invisible deck of Bee stingers, and colorblind, by luke jermay.
Get colorblind, it's 30 dollars. That'll be 60 bucks max, plus about 9 for shipping.

If you mean 60 dollars total, including shipping, I'd just drop the invisible deck + dvd, and add an extra deck of Sentinels. Although I'd probably drop off the regular cents and just add another deck of Sentinels to it, but that's not necessary to fit the cost in.

Smoke is intended for those 18 years of age or older only - which is why we have that restriction. With responsible use, it is completely safe - but much like Cookie Cutter or other effects we sell, it is only as safe as the manner in which it is used. We intend for it to be used by adults in a safe, responsible, reasonable manner.

We went to great lengths to make sure of the quality. We had the gimmicks produced in a specific facility (at THREE times the cost, I should add) to make sure that safety was our single top priority. The smoke produced is not actually smoke - it is vapor made entirely of organic compounds.

What's the danger in it? I mean, physically? Besides possibly choking on the gimmick, if it works how I think it does. Or getting arrested for "smoking"?

Also, people are saying it's only available for a limited time. Does this mean I won't be allowed to buy it for 4 years, but by then, it probably won't be available? It's a sexy effect :p

Thanks for all the help guys... but I'm still pretty confused... So the gimmick doesn't go in your mouth?

The gimmick does go to your mouth.
But nothing is iNSIDE your mouth
Please don't fish for the method
Just buy it.
You'll like it
Alan rorrison showed me the workings when I preordered from him

I've had one of Alan's original Shmoke gimmicks for the past few months and love it. I agree that the biggest "oddity" for someone under the age of 18 is the effect itself. The gimmick itself is incredibly clever and easy to use. There is no danger of choking.

I've used a number of different smoke systems and gimmicks over the years, and this is by far my favorite. I'm thinking of picking up the T11 version just to see how they've changed/improved the gimmick itself, and to check out the ideas on the DVD. This is a utility item, so the possibilities are truly endless.

I would not necessarily recommend this for everyone though. If it doesn't match your personality or character to magically blow a cloud of smoke from nowhere, then you probably shouldn't get it. However, this can also be used to enhance effects that you already do, or for a whole slew of new effects.

I absolutely recommend the effect and the gimmick, but urge anyone to think carefully about whether or not it's the sort of thing that "fits" them before making a purchase.

How easy is to get the gimmick in and out of your mouth? I'm working on Rocco's sleeving act atm and I love the bit that he does with smoke, however since I have asthma I could never do a cig routine like he does. Since this water vapor, it will not affect my asthma, knowing how this works could I apply it to a routine like Roccos?

Really easy, it's a natural thing when it happens. Sure you could apply it.

Getting the smoke is easy and natural. The gimmick is an extremely clever way of hiding something in plain sight. I'm sure with a bit of effort and routining, you could use this in a Rocco-style act. As mentioned, it's not actually smoke, but water vapor. You also don't have to inhale it into your lungs, you can pretty much just keep the smoke in your mouth, so I wouldn't imagine that this would be too bad for those with asthma. I'm not a doctor though, so if you think you may have some health risks, check with T11 and your doctor before buying.

While it is water vapor, there is also organic compound in the vapor. I'm not sure what that is, so it's possible you could have an allergic/asthmatic reaction. I would contact support for clarification if this is safe for those with asthma.

Heh, it might be helpful to include a note about those with asthma (both for performer and spectators), and organic is pretty broad; tobacco and marijuana are both "organic". ;p

Awesome thanks for the info! I have an idea as to what it is and I have used water vapor before so I now I won't have an issue health (I'm going to contact customer service though to make sure that there isn't anything else in there that might not be so good for my asthma haha) I just wanted to make sure I could use it with a Rocco-like act

I personally do not inhale the smoke (vapor) at all into my lungs - only my mouth. This is how it is taught in the DVD - the smoke is MUCH thicker and more impressive when released this way.
