Money To Blow

Hey guys!

I have some money to blow so I was wondering if you guys could help me choose what to buy! BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER: The reason I am not spending this on magic supplies/tools is because my dad buys me the things I NEED for magic while I buy the things I WANT for myself.

Now, on to the things!

I either want to buy a good brick of different T11 decks:

- 125 Edition Cards (x4) – theory 11 -- $10
- Propaganda (x3) – theory 11 -- $15
- Guardians (x3) – theory 11 -- $15
- Centurions [black] (x2) – theory 11 -- $10
- Sentinels (x3) – theory 11 -- $18
THEORY 11 CARDS TOTAL $68

Or some random collector-ish decks:

karnival, eco, tragic loyalty, bicycle clear, bicycle prestige dura-flex, ltd series 1 bicycle, scorpion, spider, elephant, tactical field, fragment x, tactical, breast cancer, blue ice, mini decks, random colour decks
ACE KING TOTAL $130ish

Some stuff from DB's site:

- David Blaine Split Spades Signed Decks – davidblaine.com -- $20
- Split Spades Lion Series Deck with Autographed Card – davidblaine.com -- $10
- Poster “Decade” Autographed – davidblaine.com -- $50
DAVID BLAINE ITEMS TOTAL $80

Or a giant book on the history of magic:

http://www.amazon.com/Magic-1400s-1950s-Mike-Caveney/dp/3836509776
TOTAL $135

I could buy all of these at once, but hey, I don't want to blow $300 at once when I only have $700. Some of you may ask, why buy decks, signed stuff, and a book on magic that won't teach me anything?

a) I like to collect decks, it's my thing
b) David Blaine was one of the few people that inspired me to begin my journey in magic. Other than him I would have to say it was my dad and his age old trick of pulling off his thumb ;)
c) In a way, this giant book will teach me some things. I will learn about the origins of magic and how it has evolved into what it is today. And it has cool pictures.

Thanks!

Even though you like to collect decks, here's my opinions on the following decks.

eco - Pretty standard deck, quite smooth finish, neat look. (okay)
tragic loyalty - horrible. Smell like paint thinner. clump. (pass)
bicycle clear - junk. Cool for a few seconds, until you realize that they are no good for flourishing or magic. (pass)
bicycle prestige dura-flex - nice deck. looks good, fans decent for a plastic deck. But in the end same problem as the other plastic cards. (pass)

LOL I had a dream where the package came the next day and it was such an awesome book. Then my grandpa told me to mow the lawn, but i was reading the giant book at the same time, it fell, and the lawnmower ate it :(.

Good choice - It's a great book! Even though everything is repeated in English, French and German the pictures change in the corresponding sections. (Some of the prints of the posters are so nice you'd like to tear them out and frame them.) Make sure to have a lot of space reserved to lay it down. Seriously - the thing is ridiculoulsy huge (should tip the UPS guy or at least give him some Advil)!
