Business Cards

Hey guys. I just read Jamie's post about business cards and I remembered seeing Sankey with a new DVD with JUST magic with business cards. What better way to hand them out than by doing magic with them and letting them keep it as a souvenir!

Anyhow, I decided that I wanted to design mine. I opened up word...now I have no clue what to do! I thought there was a deal on word where you could specifically bring up a business card template and rework it and fill in your info. I don't see this anywhere?

Could someone help? How do you go about making your business cards?

eww word?! haha word isnt that great for making cool looking cards. but if you want a professional "plain" card its fine. which isnt bad. but if you get it printed u betta get some good card stock to make it feel and look legit. if your getting a plain card made up i wouldnt go with vista or any of those other cheap card companies. i would spend a bit more on them so the look and feel are nice.

if u can get photoshop or illustrator that might be better for making the cool designs. but check it out and see what you like online. lots of cool ideas.
maybe if u get me what you want on the card i can make u something up real quick when i get time.

Chris has an amazing pamphlet. It looks sleek and very professional. I definitely recommend you take a look at his when he has time to post pictures. It's awesome.

Well, I would like something somewhat simple like in Jamie's post, but I don't want it that plain. I do want some kind of logo. I also really like Jay Sankey's business cards. Cool logo, and says Sankey Magic on it. I really like that.

If you are cool with it Chris maybe we can work out a cool looking business card for me?

Here is my card



I sketched out the logo I wanted then traced it in ink. After that I scanned it into Photoshop and colored it. If you want help designing one let me know. I did a lot of research before I came up with this card design so I'd be more than happy to help. Actually I should be making a new design soon once I finish up this run (I have like 400 left) with a new logo, my site, and my professional e-mail lol
