Anyone gone through this one yet? I am just concentrating on one flourish at the moment, and it's taken me 2 days to only just able to do it in slow motion, has anyone able to learn everything from this set?

Well, the advice I was given was that it wasn't a great place to start, but rather a great place to end, in terms of learning cardistry/flourishing. So if its the case that you're just starting out, then I would imagine it would be pretty tough.

Good advice thanks, I know a few basic ones etc, not a beginner, but not advanced either, I think I can do it, just need a lot of practice. Just wanted to see anyone else got hang of any of their moves.

Ah, I'm just starting out, so I ordered Genesis v1. I know a couple things, nothing too fancy, though. Good luck, though. And let me know how it goes.

Dan and Dave know everything on that DVD, lol

Anyways, the first actual DVD that I bought was the System, I don't regret it but it wasn't the best choice. Just because I hadn't bought a DVD before that doesn't mean I was a beginner. I little after that, I bought the 2nd disc on the Trilogy. Now I'm here planning on buying Genesis V1, so I'm kind of working backwards here. However I was competent enough to learn flourishes from both the System and the Trilogy. It's up to you what order you want to go in.

P.S. Seeing as you guys aren't too far into Cardistry, I was wondering do either of you guys plan on uploading/making anything for the Saturday night contest?

How is The System, by the way? I've heard mixed reviews? And what level of difficulty is the material taught?

Nah, I'm not skilled enough. (As in, I just ordered Genesis v1 a couple days ago, and it hasn't arrived yet.) What I know now isn't nearly enough to make a video.

Hey there,

I also started with the Trilogy and progressed on. I have gotten some of the moves down and I am planning on posting a video either tomorrow or sometime this week. And yeah, there are people like Michael Herp that have learned everything from that DVD.

And trust me, Pandora will take you months and months and months. Actually, years.

The Molecule Cut was the first one I really got down. It's the easiest one in my opinion. If you have a good foundation in cardistry, you should have a pretty good Molecule Cut in a couple weeks max. Pandora is quite difficult, so I suggest that after you have the Molecule Cut down pretty well, move on to the Jackson 5. It looks daunting at first because it's a pretty long sequence if you put all the moves together, but if you take it slowly and step by step, you'll have it down in no time.

Don't expect to have these flourishes down to a good speed in just a few days. Take your time and don't rush it. Speed comes naturally once the moves become natural to you, and that takes time.

First: Nobody will reveal you the secrets that give away the method of any trick
Second: Deja Vu isn't even a flourish it's a card trick

First: What's with the attitude?
Second: I'm sorry for posting on the wrong thread I just clicked right in beacause it said Dan and Dave.
Third: I thought these forums were meant to be a way for people to bounch ideas off each other and help each other out not just boast about what you can do or what you are working on.

Not asking for secrets, I can already do most of the tricks from the trilogy but i'm not at home and can't just watch the DVD to get the set up. It's cool I'm sure there there are other magicians out there that will help me out.

Techinically, Deja Vu's setup is a secret. There is a rule about no exposure on these forums.
