    Michael O'Brien Interview

Hey everyone! I'll be doing a video interview with Michael O'Brien tomorrow. Please post any questions you would like me to ask him during the interview tomorrow. I can't confirm whether this interview will be livestreamed or not since I'm currently working out the technical details. I will...

    Fate Of My Channel

Hey guys! I know of you watch my content for magic reviews and live performance videos. For those that watch, I just wanted to update you on here about what is going to happen to my channel with the cancellation of YPP for smaller YouTube channels.

    Trick idea

This is more of a card plot that a lot of people have put their own spin on. Blake Vogt has the Invisible Card, Joshua Jay has Inferno, and Rick Lax has Masterpiece. I'm sure there are other resources as well.

Thoughts on Mark Wilson's "Complete Course in Magic"

I actually have a goal of doing that and recording it. I think RealityOne actually issued that challenge once.

Thoughts on Mark Wilson's "Complete Course in Magic"

It's one of my favorite books so I think you will be very happy with your purchase. It has tons of workable material.

Superman. I want to have it ready for his 100th anniversary.

    Creating Magic.

I second everything RealityOne and Maaz have shared on here. As for me, creating magic happens for numerous different reasons. I created my first release called Doubting Thomas after I was dissatisfied with a coin through hand routine I learned on Howcast and wanted a method that allowed more...

    GiG questions

The only thing I have to add is a *ahem* tip from Dan Harlan. When doing restaurant work or even busking for that matter, if you end on a trick with bills or money that was borrowed, they usually let you keep it as a tip. I suggest something like Kill Bill by Ari Bhojez. When I was busking, the...

What type of tricks for 12 year old Kids Show?

I think there is a lot of great stuff in this lecture for that age group: http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/4289 Also, just anything that is visual or relatable to them should work. Stuff with oreos, cellphones, or anything like that should resonate with them.

The selected card can be signed and appears inbetween the Jokers in the spectator's hands and not the deck, the deck can be shuffled by the spectator and placed back into the card box, you end completely clean, and for half the price of MitM you get 6 other effects. Joker's Heist isn't as easy...

Certainly. I actually plan on doing a video on this as well soon. So basically the major gripes with Monkey in the Middle is with the gimmicks and the price. With the impromptu handling of Joker's Heist you can perform the same plot as MitM only there is no setup.

    Professional?

In my opinion, a professional magician is someone that is experienced enough with magic to make their entire livelihood off of it.

    Magic Conventions?

Right on! Colon's fun to visit every now and again.

    Magic Conventions?

Yeah Colon is the big one with Abbots Get Together, Abbots Close-up Convention, FAB Magic Camp, and some stuff that Sterlini will put on. But there is also Michigan Magic Day that the different chapters of IBM put on as well as few other small scale magic get togethers as well.

What do you think about my magic library?

The thing about Mark Wilson's Complete Course is that it's good for beginners because it has the beginning steps for most genres of magic in it but it's much more than that. Complete Course is a spectrum of content all the way from how to do the Overhand Shuffle to how to perform stage...

    Magic Conventions?

I think @obrienmagic can help you there. If you ever find yourself in Michigan, I know of a few good conventions around this area.
