    Texas Pasteboard Massacre

Seems like this would work well in real situations. Very clean in appearance and the principle of part of his method has been time-tested. I like it!

    "The Wire" just an extension

Really? Joe is more than creative enough to come up with great material (and he has) and is far from "crying like a little baby."

    Best cap in bottle trick

Are you looking for glass or plastic bottle versions? Prohibition, I think, is the most practical, clean, and direct method for a glass cap in bottle. It rocks!

    Wire copyright issues?

Hmm, I'm not sure that's totally true. There must be hundreds of tricks in print that use and teach the Ghost (Elmsley) Count, but I wonder how many of them asked for his permission when he was still living. What about old plots with new methods? Can I teach a Card Warp, for example?

Penguin Magic's Attempt at The Wire

I actually think the "magitars" are really cool! :D

Penguin Magic's Attempt at The Wire

The lower standard I referred to is that while many ideas can be new and creative, that doesn't necessarily mean they're good. As pointed out elsewhere, The Wire will accept material that's mediocre, as long as it's not copied. Naturally, this magic will sink to the bottom, but it will still be...

Penguin Magic's Attempt at The Wire

While The Wire is a neat idea, I wouldn't call it new and revolutionary. All publishers' websites allow submissions, and The Wire does the same - except with a lower standard. The advantages The Wire advertises deal with the fact you're able to control everything yourself: you do the filming and...

    Wire copyright issues?

That works, too! What if the move is well known, but the creator is still living, such as Vallarino's Rumba Count?

Penguin Magic's Attempt at The Wire

I think it's a different approach. It lets people be featured on their main website, and not a category such as The Wire. Plus, you can submit gimmicks. It seems more like a submission that you'd find on any publisher's site. And it's funnier, too: AND, you get a cool "magitar"...

My interview on the Wizard Product Review!

Thanks, guys! I was very excited to do it, as Craig and Dave's show is fantastic! They're too funny.

    Wire copyright issues?

What if the creator is no longer living? I do an Ace production that uses Marlo's ATFUS (or I guess we should call it Elmsley's...) and the Vernon/Christ/Annemann Alignment Move. Is there a standard for crediting? Is it enough to just mention the name of the creator, or should we say where it...

    Burn by Jordan Gomez

Maybe it's just me, but I've known how to light a "special" type of match with my fingers for a long time. He says it can be ANY match; can it really?

Would you buy this on The Wire?

It's a neat color change, but do you have any uses for it? Since it's very restrictive, as the card that changes in below another one, you would need to provide a context to use the move. Most people wouldn't have one in mind, and they would be less likely to purchase it.

    Draven Reflects upon the Wire.

Still, I don't think it's proper etiquette to publicly say what other companies pay. This is private information - the companies don't go around shouting out their payment information - and I think we should respect that, even if no NDA was signed. However, if people do decide to release this...

    Best ACR Closer?

Solid Deception - and the variations I mentioned - are unlike Daryl's Ultimate Ambition. Daryl's trick is basically a way to simulate ultra-fair conditions: the deck is tied in rope so there is no possible way for the card to rise to the top. Solid Deception is an ending where the entire deck...
