My personal opinion on these cards stands. The thinness leaves them to easy damage, they bend easy and lack flex. Its all on preference. The fanning sucks and certain slights can have you running through the deck very easily.
No I did handle them for a day and found them to be too thin for my appeal. The way they fanned was horrible. And pulling off sleights seemed more difficult do to there thinness.
You really shouldn't worry about it. If you have the right patter or misdirection you will do fine. Its a sleight so its going to get better with time and will become very unnoticeable.

You can go cheap and just figure it out.
The angels dont suck actually. its not to hard to get a 90* degree angle on your spectators. Not to mention if you are good at replacement then you have a full 180* angle option.

Exactly! Simple, no real clean up, impromptu basically, and a great opener.
"I also think it would be entertaining if any hecklers tried the trick for themselves."
I can think of a few from the thread here lol.
Its not about how easy it looks to you. Its about how you convince the audience what you are telling them. So its going to look different in your eyes then to someone else that does not perform magic.
I have the same habit of breaking down a trick once the presentation starts. Horrible to do...
