Forgiving Decks

I like to do the ambitious card, 2CM, and others that involve the double lift.

While my technique is getting better, I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for a card that "hides" better than others. I was thinking that the Tallyho fan back might be best, but didn't know if there was another design out there that helped hide those pesky edges.

Thanks!

Visually forgiving

I guess what I was looking for was some opinions on which cards are more forgiving "visually" from the little mis-alignments.

Not so much the "stock" but the design. Is there something that is a little better at hiding the edges of double lifts that are less than perfect? on the back side?

Border, borderless? Circle back, Fan Back, Bike Masters, other???

I had always thought that "white" cards were better than "black" cards, but not so sure anymore. Seems like the edges on the black cards turn "grey"ish and provide a visual disturbance that hides some edges....

Anyway, any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

All-over back designs cover doubles a lot better. To be fair, they tend to cover a multitude of sins, which makes me wonder why the hell they use them in casinos. When they spend millions on trying to stop people cheating, why do they give them the easiest cards to manipulate? I've never had a satisfactory answer to that question.

You really shouldn't worry about it. If you have the right patter or misdirection you will do fine. Its a sleight so its going to get better with time and will become very unnoticeable.
