    Best E deck?

I don't even know why this is up for debate... GHOSTS, hands down one of my favorite decks. It looks nice, fans very well (powdered or non-powdered), holds together fairly well for cuts, and lasts a long time. It also doesn't seem as thick as the other decks from Ellusionist. I think there's...

    False Cut Battle!

HAHAHA... I would be, except I know like ONE good false cut :D If I took this challenge, I would lose for sure... gimme a year, and I MIGHT be able to compete.

    Help, I'm just starting out.

Seriously, I suggest getting something easier than the Trilogy. Book-wise, there is nothing better than "Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes." I've said that so many times in the past that it's becoming rote now. If you want a DVD, get XB. It's basically the Encyclopedia in DVD format...

Not to mention that he's not using the correct grip for the Clipshift... My vote goes to coldsleeping.

    Are T11 Custom Decks Thick?

I think you're missing out, then... Although I don't endorse E, I have to admit that the Ghost Deck is one of the smoothest decks out there. The best deck that E has ever handed out, on par with Tally-hos as my favorite cards. (The rest of E's decks are somewhere near the bottom of my card...

    Are T11 Custom Decks Thick?

The 2nd Edition Guardians and Centurions are thicker than both normal and E cards. At least, that's what it looks like at first glance. They also seem to weigh more in the hands, although that might be imagination.

Saturday Night Contest - This House is Made of Cards

This took the better part of two hours, considering that I used no tape and two decks, one deck of Studs and one deck of Vipers. Looks rickety, I know... Ugh...

    Your first flourish?

Charlier and Thumb Cuts were the first cuts I learned, and the Sybil was the first two-handed cut. I gave up on the Thumb Cut because my thumbs were too short, but I picked it up now (two and a half years later) after my thumbs got longer. Sounds weird, but it's true.

    Reset: Voting open

magicman1212's Reset was better (Punk'd FTW), but I REALLY didn't like the editing on that video... it didn't flow much. My vote went to adjones.

True that. You, sir, are a genius. :D

    Centurions vs. Split Spades

Not only do I prefer having MORE cards, but Split Spades are one of the best decks I have ever handled.

Interesting Outcome - Coincidences and Luck

I was spreading through the card to find the four Queens to do "The Queens" by D&D, but I accidentally dropped the pack when a car honked at me. Funny thing, too - there were five cards faceup, and four of them were queens. Luck be with me :D

    Crooked fingers from flourishing? Anybody?

I'm not quite sure what is meant by "crooked fingers," but I have what people say "double-jointed" fingers - I can make them go super stiff and only bend the end joints of my fingers without bending the middle ones. Sometimes it helps steady cards, but sometimes my fingers lock in the middle of...

Goals for the end of summer '08

I think we should revive this post, now that summer is nearing its end (at least for us teens who still go to school). 2, 3, and 4 are done. 1 and 5 are left - time to get to work on #1, I've had enough of flourishes after that Jackson 5.

    Second Thoughts

The Encyclopedia is, as its namesake suggests, HUGE. It covers the basic one-handed cuts like the Charlier cut, as well as the basic thumb and pressure fans. But then it goes into the more complex things such as (like I said) armspreads and running L-Cuts, which means it's a good blend of basic...
